Truly independent!
I have arranged several policies via my Financial Advisor (Samantha Day) from Edwards for several years now (several life, endowment, ISA etc.). Today (6/4/04) I met with her again to discuss my next mortgage package. It turned out that one of the 'direct-only' companies is the best on the market at the moment. Although this meant she didn't get any commision, she still recommended it. Even the agent from the new mortgage company was surprised because (in his words!) "...many 'independent' advisors won't do the same!". Also, as a direct result of this, one colleague in my office wanted her contact details, so he can change advisor! Well done...
