We went to New York in December '05 and were unsure where to house our precious Kitten 'Max'. After reading a review on your site my partner and i decided to visit and were amazed at the space, care and attention the cats received. Compared to some we had seen 'Rascals' was a godsend. The owner was very friendly and helpful and definitely a cat lover. Max was well fed and taken care of and returned home as though he had never left. Highly recommended!
The lady who runs the cattery is mad about cats and dogs (has a skitty little dog who guards the cats apparently from raiders!). Great care, great cat houses, quite large with an inner house with infra red lamp heater for winter evenings and a cool concrete floor 'yard' all for himself with perches to jump up to talk to the owners, visitors and other cats. Will feed as you ask and very flexible with it. Will give medicines if needed and spends a fair bit of time with the cats. I think they play classical music - a little eccentric but a very warm welcome and Paddy came home after a week with no fleas or ticks, in a jaunty mood and settled back into family life immediately. Best we have come across.
